The intent is to create a system that sits completely outside and independent from the clients’ host ERP and other key IT systems but remains tightly integrated through the use of tightly defined API’s, middleware when warranted, and other tools.

Deliverables:
• A working desk top technology demonstrator consisting of a working database residing in the cloud connected in real time to a bank of load cells (4 load cells) which will allow for basic piece part configuration and set up, real time measurement of quantities in each bin, the establishment of a series of replenishment trigger points, and the registration, recording of each breaching of trigger point, and the ability to create basic action reports from this system.
• A successful demonstration will include:
o The ability to capture an end user forecast by SKU and calculate and store an ideal or target ERQ for each SKU
o The ability to set up the weight to piece count conversions through a semi-automated process for each SKU in the demonstrator
o The current status of each / and all bins in relation to their established reorder points
o Visibility through a browser which shows the system values and changes in values as items are extracted from the technology demonstrator’s bin(s) the change in count can be seen in real time via the cloud on line.
o Visibility of a customer forecast compared to a curated demand plan compared to actual consumption data over a period of time which can be used defined.

Fluent English is required as this project involved working with an international client.
This is a Part Time position with the possibility of Full Time transition in the future.
