PHP Developer

Core Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in PHP: Demonstrated strong understanding of core PHP concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns (e.g., MVC), and best practices.
- Laravel Framework Expertise (2+ years): Proven experience (at least 2 years) in developing web applications using the Laravel framework.

This includes:
- Solid understanding of Laravel's architecture, Eloquent ORM, Blade templating engine, routing, middleware, and security features.
- Experience with Composer for dependency management.
- Familiarity with Laravel's testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest).
- Knowledge of Laravel ecosystem packages (e.g., Passport, Sanctum, Cashier).
- Node.js Proficiency (Good to Have): While not the primary focus, demonstrable experience (even if less than 2 years) in developing backend applications using Node.js and the Express.js framework. - Understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, and module systems is expected.
- MongoDB Expertise (Good to Have): Experience (even if less than 2 years) working with MongoDB as a NoSQL database. This includes understanding document structures, querying, indexing, and data modeling in MongoDB.
- Database Knowledge (Beyond MongoDB): Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and database migrations (especially within the Laravel context).
- RESTful API Development: Proven ability to design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration (experience with platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
- Front-End Basics: A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively integrate with front-end developers. Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries (like React, Angular, or Vue.js) would be a plus.
- Understanding of Security Best Practices: Knowledge of common web security vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL injection) and how to prevent them in PHP and Node.js applications.

Experience:

- Minimum 2 Years of Professional Experience: Documented experience working as a PHP developer, with a significant portion focused on Laravel development. Experience with Node.js and MongoDB within these 2 years is highly valued.
- Portfolio or Project Demonstrations: Ability to showcase previous projects (personal or professional) that highlight their skills in Laravel, Node.js, and MongoDB.
