Senior software engineer

AaHa Inc is on the hunt for an exceptional Senior Software Developer specializing in Go (Golang) to join our dynamic product team. In this role, you will utilize your skills in back-end development to drive the creation of new products and elevate existing ones. Responsibilities



Crafting clean, high-quality, high-performance, and thoroughly tested code.
Developing and maintaining software, including application interfaces, database integration, and new functionality enhancements.
Steering the deployment of new products and features, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
Actively participating in code reviews to maintain code quality across the team.
Constructing scalable services, following modern technology practices.
Developing code that adheres to testing and testability standards.


Qualifications



Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably Go.
Proven track record of successful projects, demonstrating your ability to design and deliver features independently.
Proficiency in foreseeing potential problems and challenges in code architecture.
A proactive approach, bringing your innovative ideas for improvements to the table and proposing alternative solutions when needed.
Capability to deconstruct large features into smaller, manageable, incremental deliverables.

Valuable but Non-Essential Experience

While not a prerequisite for application, the following experiences would add depth to your candidacy:


Agile Practices: Familiarity with rapid development and short release cycles.
People Management: Experience evaluating prospective candidates and overseeing the development of existing team members and mentees.
Container Orchestration: Hands-on experience with systems like Kubernetes.
Scalable Databases: Proficiency with scalable databases such as ClickHouse, ElasticSearch, or Cassandra.
Statistical Literacy: Understanding of statistical concepts and calculations, like the tradeoffs between a weighted average and an average.
Data Science: Basic knowledge of machine learning and data engineering.
CI/CD: Experience in setting up comprehensive CI and development environments.
