For the upcoming “Strengthening Trust, Integrity, and Compliance in and between SMEs and Public Sector in Moldova“ (STIC) project, tendered by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), we are looking for a results-oriented and innovative Business analyst.

Short information about the project 
Helvetas is seeking a results-oriented and innovative Business Analyst to potentially join the "Strengthening Trust, Integrity, and Compliance in and between SMEs and Public Sector in Moldova" (STIC) project team. This initiative, tendered by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), aims to enhance the relationship between SMEs and the public sector in Moldova by addressing mistrust, reducing bureaucratic complexity, and fostering a culture of transparency and innovation. The project will support sustainable economic development and align with the government's efforts to combat corruption and streamline business processes. The position is contingent upon Helvetas being awarded the tender.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide a business perspective, particularly in relation to growth into domestic and international markets and experiences with digital solutions.
• Support facilitation activities by articulating the needs and challenges faced by the private sector.
• Assist in developing a detailed supply chain mapping of the sector.
• Bring best practices in business development and compliance to the discussions.

Key Competencies

• Excellent business development skills with expertise in growing SMEs and navigating compliance-related challenges.
• Deep understanding of international business value chains and integration of local SMEs into the supply chain of MNCs.
• Strong facilitation skills and experience with business compliance.
• Fluent in Romanian, Russian, and English.

Education and experience

• University degree in a relevant field;
• At least 10 years of demonstrated experience working in leadership positions in the private sector and/or as a specialized consultant for private sector development matters in Moldova.
