Chief Technology Officer

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior engineering or technology leadership role
  • Proven track record building and scaling DSPs, RTB systems, or high-load ad tech infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem (OpenRTB, Prebid, SSPs, etc.)
  • Strong backend engineering background (Golang, PHP, Java, Node.js, or similar)
  • Experience with data-intensive systems, real-time bidding, and low-latency environments
  • Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and DevOps practices
  • Experience managing and mentoring technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong product and business sense — ability to connect technical decisions to commercial impact
  • English — Upper-Intermediate or higher

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and own the technology strategy and architecture for the DSP platform
  • Lead and scale the engineering team (backend, data, processing, DevOps, QA)
  • Oversee the design and development of high-load, low-latency bidding infrastructure
  • Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security
  • Work closely with product, business and commercial teams to align on business goals
  • Drive technical innovation, tool selection, and best practices
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle and engineering roadmap
  • Participate in high-level client and partner meetings as a technology representative
  • Develop and maintain documentation and compliance processes (GDPR, IAB standards, etc.)
  • Take full ownership of the technical direction and execution of the entire project, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful delivery
