MIS Engineer

Orange Moldova is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of MIS Engineer.

The objective is to develop/rebuild/support DWH data flows, processes and algorithms for company’s reporting needs. To build new datamart models and integrate data warehouse system with reporting tools and Bigdata ecosystem.

what you will be doing:

• develop data loaders/pipelines/datamarts /ETL processes
• design data models for optimal storage and retrieval
• Data Warehouse(DWH) integration with third party platforms (Billing, Sales, Big Data,..)
• develop ad-hoc and periodical business reports
• maintenance and optimization of existing data flows, programs and reports
• building data reconciliation algorithms and data integrity checks
• detailed analysis of raw data(CDRs, logs, subscribers profiling,..) and business offers/products from reporting perspective
• building applications for data exposition in reporting tools: QlikView, Metabase
• documentation of new developed and existing data flows/programs/reports
• monitoring of DWH system and data preparation processes

what we are looking for:

• Oracle 12g and Postgre SQL databases knowledge
• programming experience in PL/SQL, SQL and code review ability
• experience in data engineering and DWH/ETL/DataMarts principles
• skills in Qlikview development/dashboard are highly appreciated
• Linux shell scripting knowledge would be a plus
• experience in telecommunications business is an advantage
• strong analytical skills
• computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• technical English in corresponding area
• autonomy, initiative and responsibility
