Safety Support Coordinator (1000$ Salary)

Key Responsibilities:

Driver Hiring & Termination:

• Verify and process Driver Qualification (DQ) files, including background checks, MVR reports, and medical certifications.
• Ensure all required hiring paperwork and compliance documents are completed prior to onboarding.
• Assist in organizing safety training sessions.
• Maintain records and documentation related to driver terminations, ensuring adherence to company policies and DOT regulations.

Safety Monitoring & Compliance:

• Monitor driver behavior for harsh events (braking, acceleration, and cornering) and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Track speeding violations and ensure adherence to company policies and road regulations.
• Assist in monitoring CSA scores and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Report speeding violations, overweight violations, and other infractions.
• Help monitor and ensure compliance with drivers' Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs).

Incident & Claims Management:

• Collect data on accidents, violations, and safety incidents.
• Maintain records of safety investigations and assist with report preparation.
• Follow up with drivers on corrective actions as needed.

Training & Driver Support:

• Assist the Safety Manager in delivering safety training to drivers.
• Ensure drivers are kept informed about company policies, regulatory updates, and compliance requirements.
