Bookkeeper

C1 Logistics is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Bookkeeper (Truck and Trailer repair shop) in our Finance Operations Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP) Management:

• Validate and process parts invoices, ensuring consistency with inventory records and purchase orders.
• Classify transactions correctly in QuickBooks (Inventory, Repairs, etc.) and ensure the accuracy of all payments.
• Prepare check payments for vendors.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues, track refunds, and manage credits/returns (e.g., core charges).

Credit Card and Bank Reconciliations:

• Verify and reconcile credit card transactions, ensuring they are legitimate, documented, and traced to shops system.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a monthly and weekly basis.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Cash Flow & Reporting:

• Assist with weekly cash flow statements and help identify upcoming payments due.
• Work closely with internal teams to track and record all payments in QuickBooks.

General Support:

• Assist the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks and financial reports.
• Work with Service shop personnel using Microsoft Teams and email.

Education and Experience

• College degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Prior experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Fluency in English, Romanian, and Russian (strong English skills are required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
