General Ledger Accountant

Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of General Ledger Accountant.
In Accounting, you ensure that the financial processes are just as professional and future-oriented as the IT projects. You will work closely with national and international teams, making a significant contribution to the sustainable success of the company.

what you'll be doing:
- Independent handling of all accounting transactions in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Review, account assignment, and posting of incoming invoices
- Preparation of payment runs as well as posting and reconciliation of bank transactions
- Responsibility for dunning procedures and active development of our receivables management
- Participation in the preparation of VAT advance returns
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- (with the perspective of taking full responsibility independently)
- Active involvement in optimizing finance processes and internal workflows
- Completed commercial training, e.g. industrial clerk or tax clerk
- Several years of practical experience in financial and/or balance sheet accounting
- Advanced English for collaboration with international teams, German - Good to have
- Very good knowledge of accounting and a strong eye for numbers and processes
- Further qualification as a Certified Accountant
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and the MS Office suite
- Drive, initiative, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Analytical thinking, strong numerical aptitude, and a structured way of working
